Apple:
Apple recently came out with its iPad Pro. I give them credit for creating a tablet that is one of its kind, in its efforts to compete with the Windows Surface. However, I think the tablet is a little big for what people are looking for.
Windows came out with its first free computer software (for Windows 7 and 8) when it released Windows 10. It is almost a cross-bread between Windows 7 and 8. The start menu only takes up a small portion of the computer screen, but it also includes the tiles that Window 8's start menu had. The graphics remind me on Windows 7's graphics, but they are better. I particularly like the display of the desktop and the task bar, and they work really well together. Some new features that Windows 10 has to offer is a software that is similar to Siri, it is called Cortana. The software also allows you to create a new desktop(s). What Windows 10 has, that Apple iOS 9 also does, is the split screen feature. That's Windows 10.
On September 16th, Apple released iOS 9. I am not familiar with it, but Apple claims it features a new and better version of Siri, features a split screen modes (you can multitask using multiple apps side by side) for the iPad and the Macbook, a better spotlight (to search your computer), and a new app that makes it easy to use the devices while you are driving. That's iOS 9.
