The iPhone Battery Pack

 Apple released a battery case for the iPhone 6 and 6s on December eighth that is exclusive to the company.  It is made out of silicone and microfiber and it is called the Smart Battery Case. They released it a little late compared to other brands that already offered a similar, if not the same product. They claim that the case is better because it is easier to take off, but that would also make it a lot less durable. They are trying to compete with Mophie, who already makes a battery case for the iPhone. Apple says that $100, which is what this case costs, is about the same value of the Mophie case. However, this is only partially true because a Mophie case can range from between $60 and $150. The $100 Mophie case is a better option because it has a battery capacity of 2600 mAh versus the Apple Smart Case that has a capacity of 1877 mAh. Also, the Mophie case is made of rubber and plastic and the Apple Smart Case is made of silicone. Pick your case. I'd pick the Mophie.
