If you were more satisfied with the start menu that was previous to the Windows 8 and 10 start menus, then you'll be happy to know that there is, indeed, a way to get the old start menu back. At just a flat fee of $4.99 and a 30 day free trial, you can get a third-party plug-in known as Stardock Start10. This software gives you the option between the Windows 7 setup, the Windows 10 setup, and, even a combination of both. You can, even customize the start menu by changing its appearance, its color, and its size. However, what if you wanted the Windows 8 Start menu? Well, myself as well as others were not very satisfied with that operating system, which is probably why this software does not include that setup. From what I've seen and what this company claims, I believe that this software was designed particularly for an audience that liked the features of Windows 8 and 10 but wish that they could have the Windows 7 Start menu instead of the Windows 8 and 10 start menus. I think that it is cool that you can change the look and color of the start menu, but it is not unique that you can change the size of the start menu, or at least for the Windows 10 start menu. I, personally, wouldn't invest in this product, especially since it is a third-party software (a software that is independent from the main platform of the computer; it is a software from an outside source that isn't Microsoft). The only circumstance, in which, I would recommend this product would be if you liked the apps and softwares that Windows 8 and 10 had to offer, but like the Windows 7 setup more.
